Still photography for the music video “Mi Nombre” by Maria José Llergo. A project that chronicles the artist’s emotional reconnection with her family roots and Andalusian heritage.

The images document and capture the atmosphere of the project, paying special attention to the artist’s relationship with her home environment and family.

In addition to the artist’s parents, lifelong friends, and neighbors, her grandparents were a key part of the video, as she continually alludes to how they have influenced her outlook on life and love of music.

The video clip was entirely filmed in Pozoblanco (Córdoba), the place where Maria José Llergo grew up.

The story is constructed through intimate images that move between the rural and the everyday, reclaiming memory, lineage, and the dignity of one’s own.
